📊 Dynatest participated in the BASt correlation trial in Germany, with our Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). BASt is the Research institute in the department of the Federal Ministry of Transport. Every year BASt runs an FWD comparative correlation trail at their premises to make a common ground comparative analysis of Falling Weight Deflectometers. ➡ The insights gained from such trials as BASt have the potential to drive significant advancements in pavement testing technology and inform best practices in the field, ultimately benefiting road and runway infrastructure worldwide. Excited and looking forward to the final results, especially in terms of repeatability, which is one of the most important values to verify when measuring pavement with Falling Weight Deflectometers. Repeatability evaluates the different deflections achieved on exactly the same spot by following drop applications.
